Been busy working on the car, not as much as i would like to tho

Did Sandown a few weeks ago but kept blowing a inter cooler hose off, which was a pain. The thing would just not stay on, even with 2 proper clamps, so it was a non eventful and expensive day

I ended up only getting 2 laps in for the whole day

Car clean and ready to go

          • Troy, you got the IC piping sorted now? I don't foresee mine popping again, Jimmy did a great job on the pipe work, and put a fixed bracket on the side to tie it down.

Sorry to see the bumper/wheel gaurd like that. Hope it hasn't caused other damage.

Nice. So a custom piping job on the way.

Nice one, be interested to see if your boost goes up as there should be less pressure drop with a single pass intercooler. I'm pretty sure we're running the same/very similar cores. Mine handled a run up mt nebo/glorious on the weekend with no obvious heat soak, I think you'll be pleased

                    Awesome, more boost

Combine that with the water meth injection Thinking of doing direct port injection, I know eddy has done it so i wont be the first

                      Hoyhoy.

Just be careful Troy about the Direct Port Injection.
I have the smallest nozzles available (25cc) in the inlet manifold, I have a code = PO135 coming up, which is a Co2 sensor.
Just this afternoon I done some mucking about & found that the code was only coming on when I had the direct port ones hooked up.
I had these start up @ 15lb boost which is my second stage watermeth system, with a bit of adjusting I now have this second stage coming in @ close to 20lb & it seems to have improved the code error.
There's plenty out there that will sell ya multiblocks for the direct port set up, but most have the smallest nozzles of 60cc.
I'm fairly certain that these 60cc ones will be way too much for our little donks.
                      Hooroo.

                      • Thanks Eddy

I will be using the USRT kit of course , oh they do 30cc as the smallest now and the 50cc also. Im waiting for them to get the 30cc in stock.

Where did you have them on the runners, closest to the plenum or closer to the head ?
