If Van can make it up we'll be able to get the full colour palette. (Troy = Black, James = White, Simon = Silver, Myself/Matty = Red, Van = Blue)

Yep - it's just a straight swap of the coil packs only. Such an easy mod, I spent more time degreasing the head than I did actually doing the swap. I am convinced this actually does something as well - replacing 6 year old parts with brand new ones, then having that larger gap, it's such a better drive now.

Maybe not Ryan, could be a abnormal polo colour thrown in there somewhere!

hey mate sorry but where the coils hard to actually fit into the adaptor plate? I just got mine and they are a right tight fit.

Not sure on the IE ones, but my INA ones were pretty tight! I found it easiest to put the adapter on the coil first.
Flip the coil upside down and push the adapter onto the coil, fingers pushing one way on the coil, palms pushing down on the adapter towards the coil, until the rubber pops over. Then fit the coil onto the plug and screw the adapter down evenly. Repeat x4

Not sure on the benefits, awaiting to see if the missers notices anything, she drives it more...
I set the plug gap (BKR7E-IX) to a tight .040 so prob closer to .039. Power delivery seems... diffferent. I can't put my finger on it, not sure if it's better. It does seem smoother, less on/off aggressiveness. Still monitoring boost levels, when it comes on etc to make sure it's all good. Dyno day this sat should shed some light on the power curve...

What plugs and gap are you running NP?

                    • I haven't actually measured what gap I'm running woooops!

                      However:

Are you planning on installing the KW's yourself? If so, I would be really interested in your experiences/tips.

Me and some of the Wagga guys off the forum are giving me a hand this friday - should get the KW's in and hopefully a few other things. Any tips on replacing the LCA bushes at the same time would be handy - might see if I can get the TIP in soon too which apparently is the most frustrating. The clutch kit is going in next friday at HPX Australia in Melbourne along with a tune

                            • Also - really want to mention that this guy over in the UK has inspired the styling that I'm going for and should have done before GAD - got similar skirts and rear bumper all in for painting right now and the bluemotion lip will be here next week.

What do you want to know, mate? It's a pretty easy job technically but it can be a pain in the ass getting the stock struts out of the hubs and also getting the top mounts off..
