Well the results are in! Big thanks to Jimmy for organising a great dyno day which featured heaps of tuned Polo's from all different tuning companies.
All in all I am more than happy with the results. Please keep in mind it was a fairly warm day in Brisbane so this data is only really good for two reasons.
1. Comparison from my last Dyno when the Devil had only just had Phase II loaded and had NOT had any timing adjusted. (since then I have had the timing adjusted and added the HPC coated exhaust manifold and ECS clutch with the light weight FW)
These changes alone netted me 26.4 HP at the wheels more!
2. Having some friendly competition with the fellow Watercoolers with Polo's tuned from either the same or different tuning companies.
This is where it gets fun!!
So my best run saw 176 HP ATW and 362 Nm. I will post the charts Monday when I can get to the scanner at work.
As for the competition, well I had the 2 lads with KO4's and APR tunes in my sights to see if my mere KO3s could knock them off their perch! And I tell you I came soooo bloody close.
Kenny with his red polo with from memory had a KO4, DP, Forge FMIC and his new clutch and LWFW piped my by 1 or 2 HP. And Eddy in the emaculate blue polo with the same mods as Kenny but with a full turbo back APR exhaust system and APR FMIC saw him take the Polo honors with a huge 186 HP! If I have any facts incorrect lads please post up.
Considering the other phase I Polo's saw between 140 - 152 HP I am more than happy with my results with phase II seeing between 20 - 30 more HP ATW.
Will I try to chase down Eddie and Kenny's great results with only a insignificant little KO3s in the future..................... Watch this space.Last edited by VWindahouse; 10-04-2010, 06:07 PM.

Awesome numbers there mate, great to see the Polo's can push some pretty impressive numbers with the stock Turbo.
I know this car has had a lot of work done, but I can't speak highly enough for adding a little timing (when correctly monitored).

Just to chime in, I had the privilege of a quick drive in the devil this arvo and would have to echo the above comments about how smooth and strong the power delivery is. (Didn't get the chance to go near any corners to see how it handles unfortunately).
PS I think I'm sold on a dump pipe, once I fix a few other little things. The car sounds just right.

Been in both Anthony and Shane's Polos and the downpipe makes the exhaust sound gruff. I don't think you would want it any louder for the street.

Great results. Do you have any figures for other cars that day? I just want to compare it with other vehicles that day.... for example the day my dyno ran, Audi RS4 standard - ran 298-300hp at wheels. My car did 182hp with heat soak (mine was tested on dyno to get it all running, and no fan over intercooler). Very good results though, you must be pleased with yours.
I am running REVO Stage 1, boost 7 (peak 22.3psi), timing 6, fuel 6, BP 98. Down pipe, intake, K&N, Valvoline 5-40 full synthetic, 17" wheels 205/40/17, ECS clutch kit.06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.

Yes mate there was a vast aray of vehicles there! Guy had his legendary Audi S3 on the rollers with over 300 HP and the new MK6 GTI Golf with Stage III APR with either 265 or 285 HP sorry can't remember exactly. Plus the other Polo's I mentioned before in post #107 with a couple of R32's and Jetta's. Also a Nissan GTR with only Just touch more than 4PSI netted over 500 HP! There were others but I'm sorry I don't really recall exact figures but check out this threat for more details http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/f21/...-41665-14.htmlLast edited by VWindahouse; 10-04-2010, 08:13 PM.
