Wheel alignment is not required, as you're not changing anything important there.

Got mine in today..... all the knocking is completely gone. This is a must have upgrade for those lowering their cars IMO. Front end feels a bit tighter overall as well. Very happy.

Yeah im still getting knocking from the hottuning coilovers put it, I thought it was just it needed settling but still making it, embarrasing when reversing out of a carpark.

My assumption this should fix it?

              Yes, you assume correctly.

No luck from my part, had pedders suspension people look at it quickly and there is plenty of clearance from the Driveshaft to ARB, I explained a bit more and they say thats what happens with coilovers...

Noticed its pretty creaky as well, I guess I'll get a workshop to look at it again... unless someone know how to diagnose or install these properly.

                    • could some1 post another pic please? or explain how these are installed on your cars...it looks like the link attaches to the coilover?
it doesn't seem like these would work on mk4/a3 since our links attach to the subframe.
                      cheers!

                      • This solution is specific for the Polo 9n / 9n3. Don't expect it would suit the Mk4 Golf / A3.

                          Hey man

Although I have no pics, look at the car like this. Go outside, and turn your steering wheel full left until you can see the suspention inside the front right(or left if you turn the wheel in the other direction). as you look from the rear of the front tyre, you'll notice a link that connects the front sway bar vertically to the upper suspention(Mcphersonn) Strut. This is the drop link we are refering to.

Unsure if this part will work for a Mk4/A3 though.

                          • Has anyone seen this option yet?

Just saw them on the site whilst I was getting quotes on other parts

                            • i'm interested in getting a pair as well, my sway bar is too close to the drive shaft and the knocking/rubbing sound is irritating to say the least.

my fellow polo owners in malaysia bought ford mondeo 93-00 drop links and they fit as well.
