Looks like its all brake discs and no wheels! Craziest brakes I think I have seen on a small car!! The rears look bigger than the front. I wonder how different that makes it handle?
Pretty low stance; what suspension are you running?
Those brakes are huge!,.......just a question when driving slowly to begin with , did you not here the brake calipers clipping the rims then?,.............nice wheels but. lets us know how your k04 goes, possible review?

In straight line it was with out interference, the calipers clipped the rims when making turns.
I will let you all know about the k04 as soon as possible.
how come you went with the pod? did you notice much of a differance in throttle responce? any particular reasons, you didnt go with the seat air intake?
lookin good btw.

This is the K&N 3004. I install it to reduce the length of the intake pipe. In Brazil we don’t have Seat cars, so I couldn’t find the Seat air intake.
Some people say this pod it will do more harm then good because of the hot air, however when the car is in movement fresh air is always coming. The air some degrees hotter will not do any difference to the turbo performance, the turbo is already compressing hot air, the compression generates heat, making the turbo an oven!
I defend the theory of big intercoolers.
The Stock air filter is designed to reduce engine noise and limits air flow, with the K&N I have sound and it makes the engine run more freely now.

I don't know about doing harm to the turbo but its true about hot air reducing performance. Cold air is denser and is more oxygenated than warm air and hence results in more power. That's one advantage the SEAT intake has since it draws air from directly outside the engine bay & not the hot air from inside the engine bay. Some say that with a pod what you add in free flowing air is negated by the increase in temp of the air intake. Anyway I guess you'll be the judge of that. Does look pretty cool though & I bet it does make some noise!
I agree that the hot air will reduce the performance somewhat over a cold air kit. But even though this setup would be sucking in hot air it has to be better than the standard airbox with a seat intake as it has access to a much larger volume of air. Ideally you would try this setup with a custom made cold air intake to get the best results
The brakes are fantastic, I think I could move the tectonic plates, be aware of a possible earthquake!
The turbo and intercooler are fantastic as well!
The engine response is faster, the turbo is spooling faster and with less boost the car is much stronger them before. The power at hi-rpm’s is amazing, top speeds very easy to achieve.
I remove the Festo valve, just to see the ECU try to control the turbo. It is making the boost go up and down, I need a better software! I will try the Festo valve tomorrow.
Can you get a photo/s up (possible without blur) of the whole car so you can see the ride height and the stance with the spacers in. It's a bit hard to tell actual height from the other photos. Reason i ask is because i'm getting H&R springs put in next weekend (for free ) and i'm umming and ahhing about spacers (10 or 15mm). Are yours 10mm?
As for the spacers, have you had any rubbing with them on? the rear seems to be sitting quite low..

I'm not using spacers, I had fabricated them, however the bolts become too short. I need to fabricate new bolts.
The aluminum Hat (black piece, hold the rotor) it is 5mm wider them stock.
The stock wheel offset is 38mm, my 18"'s have 42mm, considering the Hat as a piece of the wheel, in the end my new offset is 37mm.
So, I'm using a 1mm spacer.
