Does that just blast the stones out of the brakes?

From my use of anti-squeal on motorbikes you apply it to the back of the pad. NOT to the discs. It works between the pad/caliper interface and stops the noise there rather than the pad/disc interface.

noticed air pressure in tyres was off today....fill em up when cold or after a drive?

Always cold... but sometimes it's not always convenient. What I do if I suspect my tyres are off is just before I've done all my driving for the day, I'll put in 45psi all round at the closest petrol station near home. The next morning, I'll go out with my tyre gauge and deflate them to whatever I want them at.

Decent bicycle pumps have gauges on them, although they are fairly hard to read. But they're only ~$50 and very handy!

The squeal is caused by a build up of brake dust on the pads. Hit them with the garden hose, much cheaper than anti-squeal.
