Every single mod will potentially void some part of a VW warranty. No matter how small. If you like to maintain a safe VW warranty do not modify a single thing on your car. Its as simple as that.Current: 2023 MY23 T-Roc R Lapiz Blue + Beats Audio + Black pack 2018 MY19 Golf R manual Lapiz Blue + DAP) 2014 Amarok TSI Red (tuned over 200kw + lots of extras) 2013 Up! manual Red 2017 Polo GTI manual Black Previous VWs and some others ...

from my experience, if a mod is done with quality, and is not over the top, then dealers tend not to void warranties. I cant imagine an extra 7-10KW from an FMIC really putting that much extra stress on a car.
In my previous life, I had an SS commodore with 235KW standard. it was modded to around 290KW, and when the clutch went 4 months after I bought it, the dealer replaced it under warranty, no questions asked, and he was well aware of the mods.
Having said that, under the current economic climate, dealers may be a bit more reluctant to entertain claims, who knows....2007 Audi RS4 with: APR ECU Upgrade; JHM Quick Shifter; Milltek Catback and Downpipes; KW V3 Coilovers; Argon Creative Carbon Fibre Splitters
