  • EOI - Locally manufactured FMIC kits

I've been getting many requests for this over the last few months so here goes.

I have a supplier that can supply FMICs like these to us. (last pic in this post .... http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...MIC#post188716 )

Problem is he needs an order of 10+ to bring them into Australia. I'm happy to order 10 in on 7+ confirmed orders, I have to prepay 50% upfront + shipping. Pricing to be confirmed shortly in light of the current USD/AUD exchange rates.

We have a manufacturer in Brisbane that has fitted 3+ (cost of less than a $1000 all up including labour) of these now and is willing to make a kit to go with the FMICs themselves. It will include all piping, including a air temp sensor fitting, silicone joiners and brackets as well as instructions. I still need to tie him down to a suitable price ....

It will look like this fitted.

Obviously he is happy to fit these as well.

    Let me know if interested.

EDIT ... at the last Dyno day in Brisbane the effectiveness of these was severly tested. 36degree temps in the dyno shed resulted in 45degree intake temps on my car and 83degrees on Jon's non FMIC car. That is a massive 38 degree difference.

yeah throw some pics up mate, it won't hurt. everyone loves mod pics!

the xr6t cooler has been discussed some time ago but i think the issue of bar trimming turned a few away, and i wouldn't imagine they would be as efficient as sharkie's ones.
