.... I've only ever seen EOS's driven by men .... but from a distance they all seemed very "friendly" .....

I cracked up on that ... never met an EOS driver ... didn't realise they were a bit that way inclined

I agree with rhys, I don't see too many females driving Polo GTI's. I've seen plenty driving regular Polo's though.

Unfortunately I think you'll find that the Polo is in the same class as the yaris and swift barina etc. I seem to remember the VW polo ad, with a girl singing quite badly while driving a Polo. GTI or not, it's still a polo, and hence small car which is often seen as a girls car. just how I see it.

I wouldn't nessecarily class the GTI as a girls car, but the polo yes.

If ya haven't got enough money to buy a Golf GTI buy a VN V8 on LPG and put chrome wheels on it, and wear your cap backwards.....then go looking for girls in Polo GTIs to smoke.....

No ... not trying to punish anyone for this ... just thought it had sort of ... limped it's way to a meandering end is all. By all means ... continue if you must. I just think ... I bought a Pogo because I needed a smallish car with a bit of grunt ... which is what I've got (albeit with almost 50% more grunt than I bought it with ) ... I couldn't give a stuff what anyone else thinks about my car and I see these sorts of whiny threads as a complete waste of space.

I agree with Dave on this one. I cant believe this thread is still going. It wasnt that long ago that people were saying if you dont drive a Ford Falcon or Holden Commodore then you are driving a girls car. Obviously some people still have that mentality.

You look at the number of Mid-Life-Crisis-Men and fifty-something year old women who drive GTI Golfs... then compare those numbers with those driving GTI polos and then see what you get...

And yes guys who drive GTI polos may very well perm their hair, but guys in Golfs have either no hair, or a wig.
