I was thinking about this this morning. I swear I asked for rubber floor mats but just looking at the contract now it says carpet mats....Think i got ripped off! Guess i should of read it more carefully before i signed on the dotted line...

Another dealer had told me the same thing about the red trimmed ones being standard.

I've grabbed the manual for a number of reasons;

1: My wife prefers to drive manual
2: Trust issues with DSG's
3: Lack of traffic in Canberra/Newcastle (no stop/start)
4: Cheaper

Not fussed about 70Nm more torque.....

Can't wait for the car to arrive!!!!!

Lazy urbanised Aussies. They all talk about getting manuals until it comes time to place the order.

Not just Aussies , manuals are on their way out world wide across all makes . Main reason Aussies don't want manuals is because it's hard to change gear and drive and text at the same time ��
