Just to provide an update, I've been quoted $32,300 drive away for my list of options as well as the extra 2 years warranty.

In what way? Is it different to the standard 3 year factory warranty (excuse my ignorance)?

My understanding is it's specifically with the dealer and not VW. If it's with VW ignore me but unless you super trust them (I personally don't trust dealers at all) I don't think they're very worthwhile

Manual in black with Driver Assistance Package and additional 2 year warranty.

Put down a deposit for a 2016 build / 2017 compliance MY17 White DSG Fully optioned - 36K drive away. After seeing some figures fellow members been getting here, I feel I could have done at least 1k better :S considering I have also used the corp discounts !

Anyone here has DTUK Pedal box installed in their Polos(DSG)? I've a spare one sitting around which inherited from my Audi S3 8V , not sure if its a good idea it install it considering the "reliability" of the DQ200? What you guys think?

I paid 34k for manual white 2016 build MY17 with driver assist pack and luxury pack. That wasn't on road as I had to purchase from Melbourne and live in Sydney. So + on roads came to about 37k.
I didn't bargain at all, it was the only one in stock in all of Oz with those options, and I didn't want to miss out or wait months for order.
Maybe I got ripped, but who cares, driving it makes whatever it cost seem irrelevant

No idea about the pedal box!

I've gone with the dealer who provided the original 32.3k quote.

There's currently none in the country with my specs but they have sourced a vehicle that's due to arrive in Melbourne on 13 March so I should hopefully have it by end of March, all going to plan.

I hate waiting for new toys! lol

I have placed an order on a 17 build, white DSG with driver assistance package and 2 year extended warranty for 35k driveaway in Perth. Had free tints thrown in too.


Extended warranty wasn't manufacturer's, but underwritten by dealer's parent company and with similar coverage and clauses to the manufacturers (don't need the car serviced at the dealer).
