      • Bump for 2017 deals on 2016 models? I was looking at a 2015 secondhand for $26500 but thought there might be some good deals on 2016 plated GTIs. Anyone bought recently?

I was in a similar boat as you, but even in November mine was still MY17 according to the paperwork. I paid 29,900 in the Brisbane area too which honestly for a new car seemed a pretty good deal...

That sounds good, some people selling second hand have no clue. Also was that a DSG? Any options. What dealership?

It was the dealership at Kippa Ring, and no it was manual with the driver assistance pack or whichever one gives the parking sensors and navigation. The person I bought it off is no longer there now so not sure on pricing currently

                      • Hey all,

I've currently got a 2007 Polo GTI that I've had since new and thinking is time for a new one.

I'm looking at a black manual with the driver assistance package.

Wondering what sort of drive away price I could realistically expect to get one for?

                        Cheers,

                        • Just to provide an update, I've been quoted $32,300 drive away for my list of options as well as the extra 2 years warranty.

                          Sound okay?

                          I'm quite happy with it.

                          • That's pretty good. I paid about 32.8 no extended warranty but with luxury pack

                            • Sounds pretty similar to mine although I'm personally not sold on the benefits of the warranty

In what way? Is it different to the standard 3 year factory warranty (excuse my ignorance)?
