The All New 2014 Polo- Share what you ended up paying...
81TSI with both Driver and Sports in red. I'm sure they told my wife sometime early Nov that they had just started building it. So maybe it is not too far off. I prob would have cancelled it by now but I REALLY want the adaptive cruise control.
May I ask exactly when in November did you purchase it?
I've been waiting since October 7 for my 81TSI 6spd manual with Sports & Driver Comfort package (Pepper Grey). Is yours DSG or manual?
Is yours DSG or manual?
I was told about late Feb/early March for mine.
DSG. I got a confirmation email on Sept12 saying it was in BUILD status whatever that is. The last I heard from them was early November saying that we were on track for mid/late December delivery. I have been unable to get any more info, not even a reply, from them. Very frustrating! I really want this car but I don't think I would deal with them again.

That's pretty slack on their behalf. Are you dealing with the dealership or are you contacting VW Australia?
If it makes you feel better, I just got off the phone from my dealer who has pushed back delivery because of an "error message showing up in German and we don't know what it means so we need to wait for a technician to come in on Monday"

So the fun begins....
That's got to be frustrating! I'm communicating(one way) with the dealer at the moment. I may have to sic the wife on to them.

Very frustrating. I already had a day trip prepped to take the car for a good run. On one hand I'm going to be annoyed if it turns out it was a standard message like "Please select your preferred language", on the other hand I should be thankful it's not something more serious. My problem is this car is replacing one that was written off so I've been without a car for a couple months and I need it haha.
What dealership if you don't mind me asking? Can't believe they're not communicating with you - at least my one has kept me up to date every week along the way.

Every week!!!! Crikey. At least 2 months since an update. I'm driving a smelly old VT without aircon as I gave my car to the Father-In-Law. Not happy Jan!
It's Peninsula Volkswagen in Frankston Victoria. I certainly can't recommend them.
Picked up a black 81TSI Comfortline manual with the Driving Comfort pack (adaptive cruise is the greatest thing ever) for $21.4K including all costs and floor mats. Dealer initially promised it within a week back in November when I put a deposit down but ended up losing the promised car to another dealer. They managed to find another one on a ship for me somewhere and wound up getting it within 2 weeks of putting a deposit down! We needed a new car then and there, so maybe threatening to buy a Fiesta worked To those who don't have theirs yet, the wait is worth it.

Reason: transmission
For those following the absolutely riveting saga of when I will get my Polo it should land the last week of Jan. I believe new car preps then take 2 to 3 weeks? So about 5-6 weeks all up I guess.

Mine landed in Sydney on the 30th, was at the dealership 6 business days later and was (supposed to be ready, if it wasn't for the weird message) 3 days later. So yeh, probably 2-3 weeks.
Yay, just took delivery. Haven't had a chance to play around with it as I had to shoot out on my lunch break to get it but it all seems good. Looking forward to mucking around with it tonight

Please don't take this the wrong way but if you get your car before I get mine then I'm throwing myself off a bridge. Joking!
I'm guessing you didn't get any of the optional packages?
No options. Going from a Trendline to a Comfortline was options enough . I've always wanted a car with adaptive cruise control but this is a 2nd car so we didnt want to spend extra $$$.
3-5 weeks delivery my contract states. I make them put this into the actual contract. Its in Perth already, just need to go to the dealer and be made ready for delivery.
