Well, no globe and a blank insert. Looks like it needs wiring, interior switch and a holder for the globe. Although I'm not entirely sure how the static cornering function would work and if something else need to be done.Originally posted by parraeel View PostGot the switch from the dealership, $181.65. My lights are only setup as fogs, not with DRL.
So basically, if you couldn't wait for a Sport Pack optioned 81 TSI (like me). The fog lights aren't a simple plug away from upgrading. The tinting and suspension will def be easier.

I've seen some switches online as aftermarket replacements for a decent price if you were interested in that and not genuine.Originally posted by BMGTI View PostWell, no globe and a blank insert. I jumped from an '08 GTI to the 81TSI DSG. Thought it would be horrendously underpowered, but I've been pretty happy with power from it (for around inner Melbourne). The torque comes in early and in Sport it hangs onto gears and changes down quickly when needed. Still have to take it out on the highway to see how it goes overtaking, but so far so good.Originally posted by Harrison shepherd View Postanyone driving the 81tsi, have you jumped out of the 77tsi to the 81, how do you like the change?

I just bought a NZ-spec Cross Polo. It has the 81TSI, DSG, 17s, climate, 6.5" touch screen, roof racks, auto headlights. It's basically a high spec Polo with 15mm lift. Agreed to pay $11k over my trade-in but they wanted $14k.
A high-quality car and faster than I expected but the 40-profile tyres are noisy on our crap roads.

Only in November. But I got lucky that my model (81TSI), options (Driver Comfort but not Sports) and colour (Pepper Grey) was already on a boat coming over. They said if I'd wanted almost any other colour or options I would have been waiting until Feb-March.Originally posted by rufus001 View PostMay I ask when did you order yours? I've been waiting since September.
What exactly did you order? That's a long wait

81TSI with both Driver and Sports in red. I'm sure they told my wife sometime early Nov that they had just started building it. So maybe it is not too far off. I prob would have cancelled it by now but I REALLY want the adaptive cruise control.Originally posted by TheDSider View Post...What exactly did you order? That's a long wait
May I ask exactly when in November did you purchase it?

When I ordered mine they asked if I wanted the Sports pack and when I said no, they said that was a good thing since it would add another 2 months to the wait.... no idea why. But those dates seem to line up with yours (that you were told in November they were building it)Originally posted by rufus001 View Post81TSI with both Driver and Sports in red. I ordered mine at the end of November - maybe the last week? I guess I really haven't been waiting long after all =\MY15 Polo 81TSI Comfortline DSG | Driver Comfort Pack | Pepper Grey
