Pretty much the same parts when it comes to suspension and how much width you can fit under the arches - you guys can pull off 18's though, that I am jealous off.

OT - ATYPIC are you coming up to Albury for V-Dubs in the Square (28th April QEII Square, Dean Street Albury) - I remember ages ago you saying you have family up this way that's all.

Could be on the cards...and very timely might I add, as I have a heaps of changes in store for the car before then.

What size tire do you recon I should run on 17x8?
Tossing up between 205/40 or 195/45.

well considering that the rolling diameter will be different with those two, you should match that same size as standard!

They come in a 5x100 17x8 ET30.

(and if so, what tyres are recommended).

theyd be more than fine on 205/40/17 tyre
I have 35et and ive tried 5mm and 8mm spacer to front and rear respectively with 18x8.5 on 215/30/18

I rekon i could get close, i still coould lower the front on mine 40mm and the rear almost 50. its already lowered ~ 35mm all around

He is bagged in the image. I've seen him on coils and he was similar.
