Just wondering if anyone has taken delivery of any vehicles that arrived in Melbourne on 25 May on the Morning Carol? I ordered a Candy white 5 door GTI on 1 December, 2010 from my local dealer but have not received a call that it has arrived at the dealer's showrooms yet.

My GTI arrived on May 25 which I picked up last Tuesday (31st). I'm not totally sure what carrier it was on but it may have been the Morning Carol.

Just give the dealer a call, don't wait for them.

It depends on your dealer. I rang Patrick Autocare directly and got some interesting info out of them abut my car and how the system works.

Some dealers are good and fast, evidenced obviously by ATYPIC and GTI Joe's car arriving in Mildura 8 days after arriving at Autocare. Others like Frosty had to wait an age, as am I (car got handed to deliveries at 8.15am yesterday). Ring your dealer, find out what the status is according to Patrick's Tracking. If the dealer hasn't told Patrick's to compliance the car yet, it will literally sit in the yard at laverton until they get the call.

Thanks gavs and ATYPIC for the info. My dealer says that he is just as keen to take my money as I am to take delivery. Maybe he doesn't know the process at Patrick Autocare but I will mention it to him tomorrow when I contact them again. I have a distinct feeling that the "care" wanes somewhat after the deal has been sealed.

Mate, sent you an email, best bet would be bloody friday NEXT week Can't pick it up saturday obviously so it better be bloody ready before friday!!!!!!!!! There's no accessories or anything being fitted to it so theoretically it should take next to no time to get ready..... Theoretically....

hi guys just wondering if anyone else has had trouble trying to track their car? I have used the website supplied from here but my vin doesn't seem to work, nadcon screenshot says departure port of shipment 03/06/11 am I trying to look it up too soon? thanks
