Tracking Progress on your Polo and Polo GTI

Can i just clarify this with people that have already picked up their cars,
Liner Release: Paperwork thing? 27/6 for me
Discharged: Loaded off boat? 1/7 for me
Delivered From: Delivered from where to where? This hasn't shown up on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen tracking site for me yet.
If what my dealer says is true then i should be picking up my car on Monday 11th.
Not ganna get my hopes too high for this though.
Any extra info anyone may have would be great thanks

So not to beat a dead horse though. Just wanting some advice. Ordered my GTi around Marchish. The dealer told me September ish delivery. Called him today trying to find information on it and he pretty much fobbed me off and said don't worry before hanging up.

When I chased him up again he said it was now expected December.... What should I do? Any information I can get him to provide me to make sure he's even put through the order?

Look, this really is just a repeat of what others of us enduring the wait had to deal with, but if you ordered a car in March, I highly doubt you will even see it this year. Why? Because people who ordered cars in December 2010 have been quoted September/October 2011 delivery.

Wow just recieved an email with the delivery date change. Was suppose to be getting it 17th of July and now it has been put back to the 15th of August. If the polo was not so good I would be telling the (insert expletive here) to shove there car and go and buy another car. I am fed up with there lies, if they can not be truthful in when the car will be here then dont give an exact day of when it will arrive.

My car landed in Melbourne Ports on 17 June and the current status is 'Discharged 17 June 2011'. I picked my car up yesterday and I don't have nor have ever seen 'Delivered From' on my car's status. From landing to collection it was just over 2 weeks.

I think lowlee got his car within 10 days of landing, but his car was offloaded in Port Kembla. You never know your luck in a big city....you could get her on the 11th.

Fair enough I was just concerned about the fact that the dealer doesn't seem to want to talk and is avoiding all questions. Just anxious. I'll wait it out like you all did haha

I've been anxiously waiting for my status to say "Delivered From" on the tracking site when it must be a Nadcon status lol.

Ha ha. I had seen 'Delivered from' mentioned in the forums before, and like you, had anxiously been waiting for it to appear on my car's status. When I got the call from the dealership saying that she'd arrived at pre-delivery, I thought 'where's my delivered from status?'

I do have a confession to make though...I had to drive my Astra today to get a roadworthy so couldn't drive my Polo in. When I got home I sat in her for about 5 minutes, just breathing in that new car smell. I think I need professional help

Ahhh, the scenic route. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying your new GTI.

So far I've only driven my car from the dealership to home. I had to take my Astra to the mechanic yesterday for a RWC and I pick her up today so I haven't had the opportunity to drive my Polo yet I can't wait for the weekend though.

I can aleady see into the future.....8.00 am on Saturday....'See you honey, I've going for a drive. Don't know when I'll be back home. Don't wait up for me.'
