I got them on FleaBay. I'm happy with the way they look. I may have low standards though

Had Black Pearl tinting installed on my polo, tintmart's darkest tint. It goes really well with the red and keeps it so much cooler the holding the unlock button to open all the windows - such a nice feature for on those hot days parked in sunny carparks

Also planning on doing a boost gauge install this weekend... more than anything I'm curious as to just how much boost the little 1.6tdi runs.

WooHoo! My K&N Air Filter (e-2997) arrived from the States! (probably the only e-2997 filter in Aus) and my new sound for the car!
So I will be doing a lot to the car over the weekend

PS, if you want to purchase something in the USA and need a shipping company, I can recommend MyUSshopnship. Service is excellent and only took them 4 DAYS to get my filter from Miami to Perth!!

Installed sound in the car . Last thing to do is to connect the amps and amp remote wires. Still need to figure out where the ACC wire/fuse is .

Anyone here with a diagram of the fuse box? And, anyone know of a place in the boot where I can ground the amps? Had a quick look but can't find anything (Don't want to touch the seat belt mountings)

Oh, and my rear door windows auto up and down doesn't work , think I forgot to plug the cables back in, they do work from the driver's controls. AND the auto open and close of windows when you press the remote doesn't work, think it might be the rear connection or the fact that the battery was disconnected for more than 12 hours....

Any one with ideas or had the same issue?

Thanks, saw that but will not work. There are nothing to indicate which fuse is what and they are all next to each other (all in a line...)

Yes, will get pics (but not now, if VW seen the state of my car they will void my warranty!! lol j/k)

I added a new RNS510 version D along with new 9W7 Bluetooth module, both manufactured in 2011. Works great with the MY11 Polo TDI! Cost ~ $1370 and 2 hours enjoyable work on car. Further details here:

I should be getting my White 5dr GTi with Leatherette and Audio pack this week, emphasis on should lol. To be honest i can't actually go 1 minute without thinking about it, I think it's fair to say I'm obsessed.
This is what i have planned for my new car
Getting the wheels powder coated a super glossy black
Thinking about getting a Sharan Antenna
Ordering H&R 35/55mm 929kg coils from Orange Tuning
Getting Bluetooth kit from *bluewagen* on eBay (really want to install this myself but may need help from someone on here with programming the MFD and such)
Also as soon as an ECU upgrade is available I'll be jumping on that, will be very interested to see what kind of gains are achievable with the 1.4, and would like to see if a well made high flowing exhaust system could be much better than the stock system (Not after a super loud cheapo piece of crap that's for sure)
Want to upgrade the headlights with some sort of bright white bulbs, and maybe the front fog lights too.
I'm getting ahead of myself here but am VERY excited to say the least, really hoping no issues with the car as I've seen soo many issues reported so far.
I will be posting a thread as soon as i get my car with pics of EVERYTHING before and after
                            -Mike

                              hey mike, congrats and welcome!

when it comes to ecu tunes, it's all been done before - pretty much expect the same kind of gains that people have had with the golf mk5 gt sport, and the mk6 118tsi.

I managed to get my GTI a few weeks ago and I've had a stage 1 tune done by APR. Very nice indeed. Just waiting for them to release the new air intake. If I had the $$$ the intercooler would be after that for sure. That little 1.4 gets very warm.
