I'm surprised more people aren't looking at the BMS JB1 Performance Tuner for the 6C. It seems pretty awesome for the price, with the added benefit of being easily removed and supposedly untraceable.
I know piggybacks and flash tunes each have their own pros and cons, but I just can't get my head around how loading some software onto the ecu costs $1200+. I'd understand if it was a custom tune and your car needed dyno time, but when it's just an off the shelf map that pricing seems pretty crazy to me.
We also have a Focus ST which I was looking at flash tuning, for $500us + shipping I can get a Cobb Access Port loaded with off the shelf tunes. It's a shame there's not something similar available for the Polo, as they offer one for the MK6 Golf GTI. The Polo GTI not being sold in the US really stuffs up the availability of aftermarket performance parts.Last edited by green_comet; 24-08-2016, 10:30 AM.MY18 Passat 206tsi R-Line | Harvard Blue | Wagon

Staying on topic, recently changed the front headlight bulbs to Philips Xtremevision +130, changed interior lights to LEDs (wayyyy brighter than stock), and a complete wash, clay and wax job.
After a day of driving and 200 clicks later the car feels great. The new power is really noticeable and the pulling power of his thing is crazy. The DSG tune is brilliant. The entire package just works much better. If you are on the edge about getting the polo tuned, then get off it and get it done. Wheel spin is a much more common thing when exiting tight corners under heavy throttle inputs. I am really happy thus far.
