Got an RCD510 the other day after pulling out of the DNS group buy and installed it.
Also installed a reverse camera but just need to activate it through VCDS.
Is anyone in Sydney and willing to help out?

Does the RCD510 automatically enable the bluetooth features via MFD? I have the RCD 510 8 speaker system (without the dongle) in my GTI and there is no phone option in the MFD. And when I press the phone button on steering wheel, all it does it mute the sound. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I don't have bluetooth, in the process of installing the module now.
But i know from reading the install process online that its needs to be coded for MFD and steering wheel control.
This also only happens if you have the Bosch RCD510 and if you have a 9w7 kit
I have the Delphi RCD510 which doesn't display MFD but has reverse camera and USB

Is there a phone button on your RCD510? If not, its the chinese Delphi unit that doesn't support advanced BT features.

Yes it does. I checked with dealer and he said the bluetooth module that my MY12 GTI has, doesn't support advanced features I am guessing it is the 9w2 version. Anyway, at least I have BT streaming and quality is very good. Just can't dial out using BT or see contact list on head unit or MFD

Im always in Lane Cove as well.
Its a silver one on coilovers with R replica rims and R Dectane Tail lights

I will mate! Mine is stock standard white, 5 door GTI so probably a bit harder to spot. However, very soon its gonna have a lotsa decals on it and then it will stand out for sure (cud be for the wrong reasons though lol)

Got washed and cleaned out. Also a mid resi delete and 3 inch twin stainless dump style tail pipes.

Had my original Denver wheels put back on ready to trade in tomorrow on my new mk7 gti.
