What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
Nice wax and polish. Installed a sharkfin antenna and reverse camera badge.
Now I need help coding the rcd510 to show the video. Does anyone in Adelaide want to make a new friend?
Been a bit unloved recently, but today it got a wash and a wax, so I thought it was as good a time as any to show off the latest mod. She's now sitting on a set of VWR springs. Ride is a bit harsher, but much more planted, and I kinda like the bumps, reminds me I'm driving something thats a but more performance oriented

Finally had space in the workshop to get some stereo work done on the car... I have installed two amps from Mosconi in Italy's D2 range (mainly for size and weight) they were able to fit into the foam section under the floor.
The bottom one is the D2-100.4DSP which is 4x90RMS with EQ function, then the top one is the mono version with the EQ so 500RMS to run a sub...

Really nice job and clever install. I have an amp crying out to be fitted but never thought of putting it there...
DIY. get underneath car. Acces the DV+ via the cutout for the driveshaft.
Disconnect the electric connecter.
Undo the 3 allen bolts - 5.5mm (?)
Remove the OEM DV - keep it as a spare.
Assemble GFB compnents as per instructions inc longer allen bolts
assebly is reverse of above.
It will take 30 minutes - tops
For the Polo it looks like 2 allen bolts. I'd also move that spring clamp on the hose a fraction anti-clockwise.
carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
After a bit of reading these dv+ seem to be pretty damn good an being in a car pre and post fitment, it's clearly evident (stage 2+ Jetta) that. They do what they say. However, those with stock cars and even stage 1 tunes probably don't need to fork out for one.
