All good for now, but like gavs said if it's not stage 2 tuned there's no need for it.

Woosh? No, it's not for those that want to draw attention to themselves.

You do get a noise that sounds like the engine is detonating. A bit disconcerting at first.

Read the info at the GFB site.

          • what did i do to polo today???

Serviced with Nulon 5w30 euro oil
New front discs and pads (major warping on OEM disks). Didnt need pads but if i am doing discs, im gonna do both
            New wiper blades (Bosch aerotwins)
Slimline OEM VW wind deflectors that I got cheap from ebay
Rear shock mount to address annoying rattle/clicking/noise
My Car(s): 2011 6R TSI Comfortline (Pepper Silver),
If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)

Why would you use Nulon when it isn't Approved? ie:they haven't paid VW to test it. (not the last time I looked).

What brand pads / rotors did you get?

Exactly, it's to better the car, not make it worse

                    Fair enough

What type of money do the textar run to. I've heard good things. Did you buy local or self-import?

                    • Ummmmm I think discs were 95 the pair and pads about 50 or so? I can check tonight and confirm. Wasn't sheep stations either way . They are good in that they have always been nice and soft Like the OEM so none of this rock hard rubbish that doesn't stop, i would easily recommend.. They're good for early polo's too

Front discs and pads, and rear pads (OEM discs) are Textar on my Polo. Had the front OEM discs warp at circa 30000kms and dealer wouldn't warranty it so got a Euro specialist to fit what's on it now. They feel near enough identical to stock which is a good thing, car's at 95000kms now and no warping, good wear too.
