What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
MY11 Polo Trendline, Candy white RCD510, R badge, AP X coilovers, 17" Ariettas in gloss black, Rear muffler delete, GTI pedal covers, gloss back emblems
soon to come, Front lip & Fat bottom steering wheel
what did you end up paying for each? if you dont mind me asking.
I've been considering upgrading the cluster and steering wheel also.
I can't seem to find the cluster anymore however you're looking at $400, steering wheel $626 (converted) Shipping is extremely expensive around $150 for the cluster and $220 for the steering wheel (as the airbag module has to be vacuum packed so as to not explode on tranist (air freight).

Won't your standard bag fit? Would save freight. Might be able to get the price lower not paying for the bag.

That is a bit expensive is that cluster the same as the gti? I got quoted $400 from Sydney wreckers on cluster and $450 on steering wheel. But that's a gti steering wheel and cluster.
Could you install gti steering wheel without paddle gears because my polo is manual

If you look carefully you will notice that the cluster has blue, R needles in it, not red GTI needles. Tis also an R wheel with the glass back inserts around the MFSW buttons and I think it would also have either black or blue stitching....
But it's also for a diesel as the redline starts at 4500rpm and maxes out at 6000rpm. As much as it looks nice i just couldn't see it working. There is a guy who in Czechs who sells speedos from the GTI with blue needles for a similar price.

That doesn't really phase me my biggest question is whether or not I can use the auto steering wheel with a manual
I looked at those, then flipped a coin & bought the osram's as I thought they'd be a better match with the Nightbreaker's.
Threw out the packaging too FFS
EDIT: Looks like the Philips & Osram w5w's are pretty much the same, not sure why the Osram's would give an error if your Philps are fine. I'll try the Osram's in my R32, if they work without error I'll order the Philips for the Polo.

Yes you could, there are steering wheels that have the R look without flappy paddles. The cluster I have purchased comes standard on the R-line Polo The steering wheel is naturally for a MKVI Golf R however what I love best is that you can basically use any steering wheel...although you'll need VW to do the coding (in order to keep warranty and remain road worthy in case of an accident).
