What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

I saw that as well and I would love to have the better system. Perhaps that instrument cluster and steering wheel combo to run through the menu items... Yeah the right side controls won't work since they're for the MFD, which the TSI doesn't have but the audio controls would be fine.
My friend put a MK6 wheel into his MK5, took him about 3-5 hours. But you don't need to mess with steering wheel modules and whatnot since yours will be compatible.
aussietig has a good write up on swapping up to a GTI wheel

What have i done with with my polo? Nothing!!! I had to bring my wife's car for service and I've been driving a loaner for the last two days. Wifey's driving the gti. I miss my car!!

Finally put my old 5 Ch. HK Amp in. No need for a Line Out Converter because the RNS510 provides balanced (no noise if you use twisted pair cables) 6V output. The stock speakers take the 55W well and matches with my mates IDQ12 sub, it's all very natural and balanced.

It's all plug and play, no permanent damage to any of the factory wiring, chassis or terminals.
Here's some info on how to code the RCD/RNS 510 and the wiring I used.
