What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
cool! any chance for a vid with sound? Very interested!
Shall grab a video tomorrow morning before i head into work. Sounded pretty damn cool on cold start, but gets quiet once the cycle has finished... Somewhat really keen now to look at the ABT rear setup >> But priority is the suspension, i think my struts are dead or dieing after the H&R springs... ride quality and getting worse and worse

Might beat you to it on that combo Got a $60 quote on a resonator removal in the mailbox so I will be keeping an eye for some free time to get it done! If my dsg blurt is going to be anyware near the GTI's I'm going to wet myself

Video was quite interesting, theres alot more noise than i thought (cant hear anything inside the car), going to try again and get another done from the hatch looking down to the exhaust (roads around where i am arent that great at all so all you can hear is the vibration of the camera) But have startup cycle and warm idle done. Will post links tonight.

I finally got around to fixing the rattling/creaking due to the door felt/rubber. Went to Bunnings last night to pick the 4mm irrigation tubing. Cost me around $5 for 25m.
And it was as simple as feeding the tubing through the gap between the felt and rubber.
It's pretty much fixed the 95% of the creaking. A few here and there, but definitely not as noticable and prominent as before.
Just felt like sharing in case anyone didn't know there was a fix out there for us Polo owners
If you just keep your seals clean when you wash the car and then apply a layer of gummi pledge once a year, your seals will better for it and remain more supple too over the life of the car.
I didn't consider the gummi pledge as the guys in the Golf thread said it was more of a temporary fix for the door creak. I do put 303 Aerospace on the rubber and plastics to keep them nice and shiny though.
Does gummi do the same or should it be another car care product to add to the ever-growing list?

It's different to 303. It doesn't really have the shine that 303 gives, it's more absorbed into the rubber. Seriously though, once a year is all you will need to do
