so... what have i done with my polo today???

i picked it up from the dealer is what i did. then drove 150km back home.

here's some quick phone pics, note the sport pack and rear spoiler.
(will try get better pic in appreciation thread soon).

Thats the accessory spoiler for the normal Polos which don't have the Sport Pack

Would anyone know the part number for the gloss black dash kit from the GTI? Mine is an RHD with a manual HVAC control knobs.

Took the polo for a drive this morning, for the first time since I've had the car I got a traffic free run both up and down the macquarie pass......AWESOME Next in line is a wash this arvo I think.

How did you get the spoiler upgrade?

its a dealer fitted accessory found in polo book. in the book its part of the sports body kit. when i went to buy the car i asked if it could be bought separately, which it can.

the dealer will order it in, colour match it to your car and then fit it.

all this cost me $755, and was fitted before i picked up the polo

Today I spent the best $58 of my life. I had my exhaust resonator removed. It hasn't made the exhaust note remarkably louder, it's just changed the tone to a nice, aggressive growl. It's not too "ricer-y" and the DSG fart noise is amazing. Honestly, when upshifting under load, it 'pops' in every single gear. No droning on the highway and 100% un-noticable when idling. This is seriously the best upgrade (other than the APR tune) I have done.
This is what was taken out. For a size reference, it's sitting on the box my spare 17" wheel came in.



I haven't had the chance to make a video of my own, but here's a German Polo with the same modification. If anything, the one in the video is a bit louder than mine.

You have the exhaust already. It's the stock exhaust. All you need to do is get the middle muffler/resonator removed.
