What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
Ok, correction, it was the mk4 golf that had the extra plates in the kit for bolting, I have included a couple of pics of mine, keep in mind I have sprayed many of my components black, thats why they will look a bit different
So enlighten me... why would you add this extra weight to your car? To make it stiffer? Don't you find it stiff enough already? Or are you doing track work?

Swaybar: did you mount the arms before tightening / centering the clamps? It could be the bar is not centered front / back and the movement is making the bushes near your struts creak. Can also make the rear overly tight.

First off, I wish it was!! It's the workshop at work
Second, I like mine stiff Swaybar doesn't really make the car stiffer in regular driving, it definately limits rear wheel travel but hey, it's not an off roader Yes, I plan on tracking mine at the odd track day and while in regular driving, the effect isn't as noticable, but now, esc doesn't kick in as early and you can feel the car pointing into corners easier when you're up it
Not bad considering these are well weighted, look quite OEM if you look at the VW motorsports ($3k for 4 wheels sitting in the back of a factory gathering dust!!!!)
Will get this done before Xmas
Edit: put the 18's where my wheels are....they look too big and quite disturbing so going 17 x 7.5
My wheels are the 17x8's just in case anyone else was wondering.
I've fitted the stock 215/40-17's on them and they fit awesome!
They look so fat! No rubbing at all!
2011 Polo GTI 5 door Candy White H&R Springs/APR Stage 1/OZ Racing Superturismo GT's
Now i'm lost between 17 x 8's as its a mere $5 difference
It was a while back since i got the springs but from memory i think it was around $250 landed from orange tuning.
Also if you don't mind waiting a month for the wheels i know a company that sell all Oz wheels for around 20-30% cheaper than rrp. PM me.
Also what colour is your GTI?

It's not a GTI it's a converted TSI going for the Baby R look But flash red mate. Also from Sydney which may not effect my original quote as i'm guessing the company is based in viccy
