What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
hey arriba nice line of mods. Just a quick question what was the VCDS code for the autolock and auto unlock if you dont mind. Thanks
Cent. Electronics -> Coding (They're tickboxes but the screenshot didn't show them :S)
Also I had a bit of a brain fart and thought that it wasn't possible to de-activate the voice search function button on the steering wheel (which is the most annoying thing to press accidentally ever) but you can. Just untick the top one like I did and the voice button will mute instead.
The new DRL/HIDs I'm looking at have the following:
I was told from the seller that the lights work however that the "Light bulb icon" shows when the lights are turned on.
Is there any way to rectify this?
Best bet is to tick these...
I found out by accident that when you tick enable for your bulb of choice the Cent Electronics module will log the fault instead of the Tacho, meaning no bulb out light. The error will still show up as a fault code though. Best to check if your BCM has that as an option first too
From what I remember you got them to make a 5x100 version?
I actually have a different set of replicas lined up in the next month or so from another wholesaler, can't wait to see them on my Polo. Can't let to cat out of the bag yet though

I believe the TSI and GTI share the same BCM unit/coding?

I may be wrong though...help anyone?
Pretty sure the TSI and Halogen GTI do, but I have a Xenon GTI which has the BCM from a Transporter (VW *love* sharing parts - half the electronics in the new Jetta are from the Polo).
From a post on the subject
"Polo and Ibiza both use three main types of 09-BCMs: part numbers 6R0 937 087 (entry-level), 6R0 937 088 (mid-level) and 7H0 937 089 (high-end). I've taken a look in the ETKA, and only the Bixenon-Polos would seem to have the '7H0 937 089' BCM."
So yeah someone with a TSI and VCDS would need to check the coding for that byte.
