What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
Finally got around to installing the GPS Sharkfin cable that I've been yabbering about for the last few months, but the 5m cable ended up being too short! I ran out of cable near the little poncho pocket.
So I've got to grab a Fakra C extension cable (2m) and then finally my Sharkfin will be wired up.
If anyone is interested, you'll need a 7m cable to do the install.
But I did learn that the 3Dr bench seats are on hinges and fold out, which lets you fold the rear seats flat
Edit: There was just enough cable to do a dodgy run to the RNS510 with the cable dangling loose in the passenger footwell and wow!
Outdoor reception jumped from 3-5 satellites to 8-10 and Indoor reception jumped from 1-2 satellites to 6!
Very happy

5dr bench seat does the same. 7m is a fair length i got my 5 door done with a 5.5m cable.

Yeah I probably would've made it if I followed the main cable but that cable goes through the rear side panel (in the 3dr) which requires you to take the seats out, so I had to deviate a bit. A 6m cable would be a safe bet too
Just removed the sound actuator thingy and have to say I like it. As soon as I read about it having one it didn't sit well with me so it had to go.
Its super quiet when cruising now though so may have to do the middle resi delete or just shell out and get a full turbo back upgrade.

I love that it's quiet when cruising (without the actuator). Drove up to Sydney this afternoon and it was one of the most pleasant drives I've had in any car

Yeah just did a big drive tonight and the quiet is nice at highway speeds. Still has a bit of an angry note when giving it a boot full too which is good.
If you're in Sydney for a while I suggest taking a drive through the national park, just did it and the GTI loved it

First thing I did when I bought mine. Can't rate this highly enough, especially Mid-week. Less-no cyclists, few other cars or motorbikes. I'll also be looking at taking out my noise-box, as I like driving in Sports, but hate the racket inside the cab. My look at an on-off switch as has been discussed in other threads.
I like doing it at night time. Cooler air and you can see cars coming from the other direction well before you are near them due to headlights so safer imo.
Yeah I like the on-off switch idea, i'll probably get it done myself.
