What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

Got some new shoes for the front.

Hit a poorly laid temporary road plate and badly compromised the sidewall of the driver side front. Of course there are no Dunlop SP Sport in the country so I decided to give the Bridgestone RE002 a go.

They look awesome and would suit a nice white candy as well, might do some photoshopping and see what it looks like. Any thing else done to the car?

yes the set was very nice indeed, but after buying my 4th set of wheels for the car (the porsche replica's posted a few pages back) I began running out of storage space so I put 2 sets online and the denvers were the sold almost the same day.. It was sad to see them leave but it was for the greater cause

It was even worse to get a photo the next week from the new owner, turned out his 1.2 tdi bluemotion was too much power for him () He hit a curb and 1 cracked, and 1 has very very deep scratches all over the survace area. If I knew this was going to happen I would have kept them.. I warned him 3 times

I see what you mean! The website says just use double sided tape!

I must admit I'm surprised... didn't think that would be robust enough. Is that really all there is to it, gavs? Doesn't it wobble?

I seem to remember another forum member needing to remove the old paddles to install his... didn't look easy...

Got the 15K service done at Barloworld VW @ Glen Waverley, was excellent experience on all accounts.

Fixed two recall issues a) dsg update b) turbo spacer

It now comes to a stop much more smoothly not 'stuttering' if you apply gentle brake all around very happy! Seems to 'go' much quicker from a standstill to moving rather than there being a rather big lag from pushing pedal to moving.

Not with the 3M tape they provide. Also helps if you use the commercial cleaner/primer for the tape (no you can't buy it over the counter) to promote adhesion.

RoknRob you're thinking of the S2TP paddles I think, or maybe Oettinger which are a complete replacement aluminium paddle.

Yeah those are the ones... S2TP. So you're satisfied with the stick-ons, huh? Maybe I should get me a pair. I often wish I had extensions...
