Half the time I can't remember what I did the day before, let alone 3 days ago

I had to think about where I drove on Saturday to determine that wasn't me. You would have spotted the sunroof as I had it open. I'm starting to see red Polos everywhere. I drove behind 2 red ones on Sunday (a tsi and a trendline). I haven't spotted any red ones with sunroofs yet.

I'm on the lookout for frostee. We live only a couple of suburbs away from each other and his will be easy to spot - Candy white GTI with sunroof and personalised plates.

It'll be my car you'll spot but possibly not with me in it. My wife has taken a liking to it!! I'm not complaining, I bought it hoping she would drive it and am glad she's comfortable doing so.

im luving my red baby and the seamless gear changes are awesome and driving with tiptronic makes it sound like a manual

i even impressed a mate who drives a nissan 350z black soft top so yea

I was very concerned about the driveway issue as I reversed into the garage in my Astra and I thought the black guard was going to scrape if I did it in the GTI but i have about 1cm clearance at the lowest point :O

I am now driving the long way home from work.... but shhh the other half doesn't know that yet

What is it with Astra owners (you, nikon and I) trading up to Polos? I must admit there was a little tear in my eye when the guy who bought it drove away in it, but the Astra was very quickly forgotten when I turned around and saw the Polo in the garage

That bodykit does look awesome, just a pitty it costs around $3k for the complete set

i agree you have to ring around i was told a new polo gti 5 door would be a 8 month wait and none left for sale . i have found 4 so far a red 5 door in lismore . a black 5 door with bixenon and comfort 36.00 drive away at bryant vw brissy.a red 5 door in rockhampton 34.000 drive away. a white 5 door with leather pac and sunroof 37.000 drive away at tweed vw arriving in october not held by anyone . im getting a black 5 door with bixenon and comfort pac for 35.000 drive away with a 8 month wait but think its worth it after the test drive. and all the talk about motor change are rumours i think and who cares they wouldnt replace it with an inferior motor so all good !

Went to the motor show and sat in this Polo. First chance to play around with the RCD510. Was pretty impressed with the car overall. Sat in a fiesta too and it felt absolutely CRAMPED!
