Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I think the original specifications did not include a tow bar, but subsequently was updated and not all dealers have read the updated specs. This forum is proof that you can get a tow bar fitted so just shop around.Originally posted by bunglebp View PostI queried this and got told towbar is NOT an option due to the automatic boot on the 206 TSI R

Pretty certain my 206 wagon does not have that. Would be nice if it did.Cheers

The sensor for the auto open wasn't compatible with the rear bumper skirt on the R Line. It seems like it might be an easy mod if the sensor is still there and just needs a cutout and enable.
What's the difference with the adaptive lane assist enabled with the OBD and the standard lane assist?

Has anyone done any mods like
- Resinator Delete or Full Exhaust, and if so, what does it sound like (clip)
- Lowering Springs
- Tune other than a JB1/4
I want to get a bit more barp out of the exhaust as well as make the car look a little better. I'm worried springs will throw off the ACC and the res delete might make it drone, which is why I'm looking for anyone that's done it.MY17 206 R-Line Passat Sedan, Pure White, Sunroof | Spectune STG1 | VWR 600 Intake, TMD, Inlet Elbow | Res Delete

I am close to purchasing a new 206TSI when my novated lease runs out in early August.
Would consider delaying if the 7 speed (which i assume will improve fuel economy?) comes out later this year...

I don't think anyone will give a definite answer until one is delivered or advertising is updated.MY17 206 R-Line Passat Sedan, Pure White, Sunroof | Spectune STG1 | VWR 600 Intake, TMD, Inlet Elbow | Res Delete

Hey guys, has anyone had any infotainment gremlins in their 206? The central nav maps work OK but I keep getting 'Starting Map View' circling in the dash view but with no maps. Also when using the steering wheel buttons to change radio to the next station it chooses some random station instead of the next one to the left or right. Keen to hear if any issues?VW Passat 206TSI Wagon - Lapiz Blue - Sunroof
