Trying to get ACC "Follow to Stop" working...

Well...it seems that OpenPilot enhances the current system but won't get me the function that I really want.

Do you know of someone reputable who can "hack" by FeC/SWaP for ACC 'Follow-to-Stop'?

7N0 radar has FEC changed to 10003700 (ACC high; FtS; FrontAssist; CityANB).

ACC works & FtS tries to stop but ABS releases around 10mph. If i don't apply the brakes, ACC will automatically resume, but if I apply the brakes, RES button starts ACC at any speed. It closer but ABS isn't fully cooperating yet. Word is, there's a GTI in Germany with MK60EC1 and 7N0 radar with FtS. More work needs to be done...

I‘m stuck with a similar problem: FTS not working. But for me, not even ACC works. I have the same FEC than you activated: 10003700, same ABS. The DSG and EPB are retrofitted.

I have some ideas about FTS we both could try. But I‘d love to first get the ACC running (the old style 3AA ACC worked flawlessly). Maybe you have an idea? I feel like i already tried everything here…

Maybe your MED17.5 has a similar limitation too?

ACC enable by coding II using code 13377. Deactivate cruise before using 16167. Might need security access 12233, but I think not. Even tho it doesnt support EPB, this ECU works perfectly fine with EPB+Autohold and 3AA front radar.

When installing 7N0 front radar, ACC doesnt work anymore. Currently trying to find out why. You suggest using Passat B6 ecu (03C 906 016 P). Why not Passat B7 (03C 906 016 DH)?

Because our golf EBUs 03C 906 016 AJ based on HW: 03C 907 309 A. Same as B6' 03C 906 016 P. All of them have short coding and ACC simply activating by 13377 (11463 for deactivating ACC support).

B7 EBUs (03C906016DH or 03C906016GC) based on other hardware 03c 907 309 e with long coding and not support ACC from factory (VAG injure CAXA 1.4 Passats). But drsedoy can add ACC support for them.

Now I'am trying to find a simplest way to upgrade my EBU to modern version from B7 or Yeti. But it is a background task and not help us with 7n0 distronic ( j428 ).

My guess (!) is: There's a difference in the CAN messages between ACC and ACC+FTS. Our Golfs never came with ACC, but afaik it can still be activated in most engine ECUs. But not ACC+FTS. Since Passat B7 came with EPB, my guess (!) is that the engine ecu will only work with ACC+FTS if it is prepared for EPB. That's why I'll try to install said Passat B7 engine ECU in the next weeks. I'll report back.

I learned about FtS only after installing 7N0, thats why I never tried to enable it. So i cant say. As i still have the old radar here, i can test it.
