Possibly mate, depends if I get rubbing with the coil overs wound down or not. If they do rub I'll have to go for a higher offset 20" rim, probably something..................exotic

Yea????? I have been keen on the KW coilovers previously. But I recently just purchased a set of H&R lowering springs from Dubs.

              G'day Dave,

I'll make this post in defense of myself here and I won't be replying after that.

Yes, I offer AU RRP. I also offer free domestic freight. I don't really see why I should have to go lower than RRP.. Contrary to popular belief, the profit margin on these products (sticking to RRP) is not all that high. Yes, you may find cheaper prices with grey import.. But ask yourself this:

              - If my package is lost or damaged in transit, will the over seas internet shop dealer help me out? (I'm sure you'll find varied results there!)
              - What happens if I accidentally purchase the wrong model? (In our case if there is different mounting or sizing between years- T5 Multivan is a good example, we supply the VIN to ensure you get the correct product, and if it is wrong we will replace it at no cost to you)
              - If I have any questions, can I email them for information and expect a quick reply? Can give them a call/send them an SMS? If I can, will they be helpful? (Good luck. In my case my phone is always on hand- This applies to email, calls and texts.)
              - What happens if I have warranty issues? (I would imagine KW Australia wouldn't be very interested in helping you with grey imported product, unless you were going to pay for the repairs. In our case, you get 2yrs/unlimited km warranty on KW kits.. And any warranty issues can be dealt with and repaired here in Australia)

So.... Do you really get value out of grey imports? Those are the facts. The decision is up to you.

              Cheers,

              -Chris.

after speaking with euro division, they only have fitment for tiguan as matt black 19", which would not be suitable for me

does anyone know the effect on driving if you get a wheel with bigger ET? say et 45 vs et 35?

Really?? Jason said that he has 18" for the VW Tiguan. Either that or he might be ordering more at the end of Feb.

My only thot of an ET35 vs an ET45 wld be the turning radius? Since the ET35 wld sit 10mm out. That's my thought. I cld b wrong. Happy to be corrected.

i asked Jason and he said he only has the 19" in et35 matt black, and ebay shows the same.

he has 18" et45 in silver though.. which is why i asked.

pyspeed has quoted 450 to ship to australia which i think is a bit much, so i was looking around to see if anyone else has these replicas but no success.

anything but matt black LOL ... i've been searching for these wheels trying to find more info and it seems that they are a generic shape with lots of other rebranded copies ie

                        ICON ZEST 19X8.5 19X9.5 HI-SILVER MACHINE FACE

i think they were originally bmw m3 wheels.

i think the tiguan ride is a bit hard already considering its a suv so i dont want to sacrifice any more ride comfort by going 19's plus the costs of 19's.

Doesn't seem to have a lot of interest in these V710 look alikes.... I sure hope to have more ppl to be interested.
