Hmm sounds strange. Perhaps your car has other mechanical issues, because APR is the best tune money can buy, should normally give you HUGE power gains. I'd take your car into Volkswagen. APR tune is also undetectable so you don't have to worry about VW finding out your car is flashed. Let them run some logs on your car.

I was led to believe that the tune eased in as the car "learnt" the new settings over a 100kays or so rather than right from the tune itself.

Does sound like something is amiss. specially for $1500

You have to close the advert (button down the bottom) to show the video i believe.

Muffler delete only made any real difference to the audio side of things.
It did remove about 8kg of mufffler though so that helps in performnance a little bit.

It is pretty quiet unless you give it some wide open throttle or have the back seats down.
The resonator does a pretty good job of muffling a lot of the noise.

I will keep an eye out for your sound clip.
Would be good to have a comparison as i wasn't sure whether or not to go the resonator delete and ended up just going with the rear muffler.

Getting back on thread, I'd be guessing you have something wrong. I've I said add nausium, I had Oettinger and then APR remaps. Both gave big difference, but quite different characteristics. so, as someone else said, actually make sure you have it running on the 98RON map. It's very easy not to have the right map selected until you get the hang of changing it.

If you drive it 'normally', i.e. short shifting through the gears, you won't notice all that much. You do need to get out of first gear asap, then give it some pedal. While it's not going to be anything spectacualr by todays standards (you need 250 -300Nm to be anywhere near the money these days), over the stock 125, it is night and day. If it's not, there's something wrong. Good luck.

too subjective. I knew a guy that could cut 2 seconds from everone else's time - out of the same gemini!

Just out of interest, what would a stock 125TSI do 0-100?

                      I did a number of tests on 2 x 125TSI Tigs using a G-Tech Pro SS ......

On the stock setting without wheelspin (ie smooth start & flooring from the moment it starts moving) a 125TSI Manual will do about 8.4s 0-100km/h. With wheelspin induced (ie 4000rmin and dropped clutch) it will do 7.9s

On APR Stg1 without wheelspin (ie smooth start & flooring from the moment it starts moving) a 125TSI Manual will do about 6.5s 0-100km/h. With wheelspin induced (ie 4000rmin and dropped clutch) it will do 6.0s

On APR Stg2 without wheelspin (ie smooth start & flooring from the moment it starts moving) a 125TSI Manual will do about 6.2s 0-100km/h. With wheelspin induced (ie 4000rmin and dropped clutch) it will do 5.8s

& Just for fun I mounted the G-Tech on my bike and did a 2.9s ...... not too bad for a naked 600 sports ....
