Whilst it may be bigger on paper, but in real life it's not very wide at all.
It can't even fit a standard Maclaren stroller straight across the boot and has to be laid on an angle.
Definitely not a very practical car if you have kids.

The Q3 is just too similar to the Tig, with practically the same engines and transmissions. That $10K premium may buy you a bit more style, but you'll also lose the rear seat flexibility and space that makes the Tig appealing.Originally posted by Bambazonke View Post

Thanks for that Aussietig. I have yet to see one in the flesh as thre are no Audi dealers nearby. I was quite keen on the 2wd diesel model but was having great difficulty justifing the extra 10k over the std 103TDI 4wd Tiguan. I think Audi and BMW need to take a reality check on their prices. They are just ripping us off when compared to Europe and the US. They are even cheaper across the ditch in NZ than here.
