Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • I just installed my Osram Cool Blues and I must say I'm massively impressed. Not only are they much whiter and brighter the beam seems to go a lot further too. Also just ordered some for my high beams and fogs also so I'll have a totally white light entourage
2008 VRS Wagon. Yellow, very yellow!
    Forever blowing bubbles.

        • I'm personally a fan of the new wheels. But after seeing the new R-Line Tig in Frankfurt, I prefer the face lifted model.

            Damn it Nis
If they released the new one earlier i may have considered it but after straining to work out if the new jetta and passat i saw today are actually VW's i am glad i stuck it out wth Gen 1.

The wheels are great, nice and light, easy-ish to clean and i am hoping to get it out to Happy Laps

              • Hi Clay, saw your car at Oxenford. love the wheels and the other mods. You made the right color choice, white just looks a bit bland. It is truly unique.

Only thing you need to do is change the sig for the Tig.(new wheels) I'm a poet but don't know it.

Haha. Can't say I'm a fan of the new Jetta or Passat sedan. Passat wagon however I'm a huge fan of, but it's impractical for my job. Haha.

                              • Nice drive home this morning, average amount of traffic and stop signals.
Managed 7.8l/100km due to granny shifting and only blitzing off at the lights a couple of times.

I love just how bi-polar this car can be.
