    Hello TIGTDI,

I purchased mine near CBD. I got a call today and arranged to pick up my car on Wednesday. Fingers crossed everything goes well!

        Update

Lastest as of Thursday last week picked up a new bright yellow polo with advertising down the sides saying 'The new polo' as a courtesy car until mine arrives....

Hopes of delivery by the weekend quicky diminished were I discovered vehicle had not reached dealership as yet, so analysing situation if vehicle arrived at dealer fri/sat plus a couple days of prep I might get delivery on Wed like XTX will be.....

XTX want spec/options did you order your Tig ?

          Team_v,

          Will do.

          TIGTDI,

I ordered a 147 TSI, Silver Reflex, Bi-Xenon, Anti Theft Alarm, Adaptive Chassis Control, Off Road Tech, Park Assist with RVC, Towbar, Floor Mats and Mud Flaps. I was told the it will arrive at the dealership on Monday and they need 1.5 days to fit towbar and mud flaps and prep.

Your dealer should be able to tell you when your Tig will arrive at the dealership 2 or 3 days before hand. Mine did.

Fingers crossed, you are able to pick up the car the same day as me. In the meantime, enjoy the new polo

          Regards,
          XTX

At least you got a demo car TIGTDI.
How is the polo to drive?
I am going to test one while i wait for pick up.

Sucks that you have to wait, i know how you feel though.
Customs must be short on staff or have a big backlg of stuff to check.
At least they are doing their job though.

            I get mine tomorow!!!!!!
Already got the day off work in preparation for it.

I know!, it's been killing me.
Sometimes i wished i had caved and paid the 10k extra for options i didn't want so i could get it from the dealer floor.

But at least i get the car i want and save the 10k in extras so i can spend some of it on mods.
118 days (almost 4 months) is a long time to wait but at least i still had a car to use for that time.
I must have just missed out on teh cutoff for hte previous build schedule too.

Will charge the camera battery up and wipe the sd card so i can put up some pictures of the new beast.
Hopefully i can sort out all the mods soon.
                Wanting my 125 to be a 200

                  XTX

sounds like nice package ......was debating about the xenons & RVC myself but already pushing budget with other options.

PS are the mud flaps colour coded ?

                  Team_v

I rediscovering the joys of a manual after 5 years in the Golf , its got a 1.2 ltr sewing maching donk under the bonnet it had less than 500 kays on the odometer
& am treating as if it was my own. Having said that the engine is a bit like sewing machine maybe I was used the torque of the tdi.

PS: I bet you wont be sleeping tonight...

I am going to test a polo while i wait for my Tig to be prepared for pickup tomorrow.
Probably won't be sleeping with Red Dead and the car tomorrow.

                    Camera is charging too.
Hopefully i get a good rego plate.

Our tiggy is at the dealers getting prepped ready for potential pick up on Friday. After waiting 4 months it is getting exciting. Our dealer was pretty good in the lead up, with prompt email updates and replies. Their service has dropped off a bit in the last few weeks with us needing to call or email a few times to get a reply about delivery dates and stuff.

I asked them if we can pick it up after 3:30 Friday but they need to get back to me on that, they would prefer a time 11am-3pm (which is impossible, got clients and you know...work). Saturday pick up was a no go because they don't want to tie up a sales guy for too long on a "hot selling" day...not that they minded making us wait 4 hours for service when we put the deposit down on the tiggy

Hope it all goes well Doc.

I picked mine up this afternoon.
I forgot how awesome it is to drive but fell in love with it all over again on the way home.
Andrew J at Highway VW was a champ showing me all the bells and whistles that my current car doesn't have.
