Looks like our 147 will be ready to pick up tomorrow afternoon, there are a few details to sort with dealer but all going well I should have the car home by 5pm.
We ordered ours at the end of Feb with a scheduled delivery at the end of this month so it will be a few days short of a four month wait. I'll post some pics when I figure out how to.

It was a long wait and some bad news about an in-law at the start of the week drained our exictement about the car but those things aside I can tell from our first brief drive why everyone loves their Tig.

We had a voice activated bluetooth kit installed as soon as we got the car home and thanks to the professionalism and experitse of the technician in explaining some of the features (he bought a Tig for his dad last year) I'm stoked with the car.

The only complaint I have was the treatment from the dealer which soured the experience for us, will never buy another car from them and will certainly let VW Austtralia know of our displeasure.

Good surprise!

My car has been produced in the first week of June and is already in the "Torrens" due to arrive in Melbourne on the 30th of July. It means that my delivery has been moved from end of October to mid August.
Maybe it's one of the first DSG in Australia!!! It shall also have the same steering wheel as the Golf. I'm not so happy to find out that our 103TDI are the base model "Trend & Fun" by checking the Model code 5N1039 against the European models.
All together I'm very excited with my TIG!!! )))
By the way, the Golf is for sale. Any interested please send me a PM. Is there any notice board where I can advertise my car?

Our Tig is on the TOPEKA, the ship is going the long route US, NZ and will arrive at Port Kembla on the 21st of August. So one month to go today. Currently the ship is in Baltimore. I found this website that you can track the ship. TOPEKA - 9310109 - Vessel's Details and Current Position

I lost track of my ship... It hasn't sent any position data since the 16th of July when it left Reunion Islands. Is it normal?
I was not able to find my car on the WW website either.
I know my car is on Torrens because a piece of paper I received from my dealer, however the search on the WW seems to be not working for me.
Anyone had success with it recently?

Even though the car is arriving more than 2 months earlier than I was expecting, I can't wait... hehe...

Mine wouldn't update unless it was near land.
When it crossed from South Africa to Perth i lost any updates until it was landed in Perth so don't be dishartened.

That's exactly what is happening to mine. It should dock in Fremantle today. So, let's wait!
