What do other Tiggy owners have?[/QUOTE]
We use an unbrella type for shopping with the 18mth old slotted between the left/right rear seats through the armrest/ski port. My wife also carries a buggy-board (stand on trailer) attachment for this pram so the 3yr can be hurried along. The pram can fit in the 'boot' in a variety of diagonal arangements also to allow for shopping spoils. We cope with a full size German Shepard, pram & necessary stuff around town.
Doesn't really fit with your seating plan though.
We also use a Phil & Ted's Classic with 'double kit on back' which is bulky and awkard if other items are needed. I considered a strap hook to stand the Phil & Teds' on its side...
We have 2 child seats, non compact variety, either side and I've sat between them for 5 very awkard minutes, although I was exhausted, dehydrated & cramping from a day on the bike...
Eitherway, the flexible seating of the Tig mostly counterbalances the smaller luggage space. The ownership, quality and drive sealed the deal for us. Nothing we would drive day to day could cover all bases and although it's been done to death a roof boot will be bought at the time I can't pack creatively for longer trips. We pull a trailer & dirtbike from time to time down the highway allowing some bulky items to come that would otherwise not fit.
We rented an Xtrail a couple of weeks after buying the Tiguan. Tiguan to airport, Xtrail from airport. The differences were stark and I WOULD NOT own an Xtrail, ever! Yuck!
