The dyno was off by about 10% across all the cars from other previously known figures ..... for most that was OK as they had other similar cars to compare against but the Tig was on its own ....

Still, it was the 3rd most powerful car there ... after the 2 APR Stg 3 cars ..... (took the Stg 3 S3 for a drive and I can see a Stg3 kit in the Tigs future .... )

Made more than 10HP than the heavily tuned APR 190kw Polo and the tuned R32s ....

I think everybody was .... ".... what is a SUV doing here...." and then after its run .... "... OMG its got more power than anything else (excluding the Stg3s) here !!!! ... "

Haldex, is easy, unplug 1 plug at the rear turns it into FWD ... then afterwards, plug in and with VAGCOM clear the codes ....

Stage 3 would be awesome on the Tig but I just couldn't justify the costs for a car that will probably only see the track once a year if that.

Would definitely be a force to be reckoned with though.
And good work showing up the competition with a soccer mum car

I was really impressed with your Tig mate for sure, not to be snuffed at, not sure if you saw the scary moment i had with it lining it up and the rollers, it decided to have a big walk, scared the pants off me!!! anyway tried again in reverse and it lined up nicely.
Even with the dyno reading low was a top result mate.

OK here's the challenge. Mate's M3 arrives end of March (probably bit later). So I've got a few months to get the Tig to M3 specs. Shouldn't be too hard - here's the comparsion:

M3: 309kw, 400Nm, weighs: 1600kg
Tig - Stg1: 190kw, 403Nm, weighs: 1610kg

He's getting a manual, so no problems trying to compete with launch control crap.

All I've got to find is around 120kW, with a bit more torque (that should be easy) and I'll have him on toast I reckon! Should be easy. Guy?

When you heat nitrous oxide to about 300 degrees C, it splits into oxygen and nitrogen. So the injection of nitrous oxide into an engine means that more oxygen is available during combustion. Because you have more oxygen, you can also inject more fuel therefore produces more power. Nitrous oxide has another effect that improves performance even more. When it vaporizes, nitrous oxide provides a significant cooling effect on the intake air. When you reduce the intake air temperature, you increase the air's density, and this provides even more oxygen inside the cylinder.
