Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Tiguan 2.0 TDI Intake Manifold Replacement still leads to a P2015 manifold error

    Hello.

The car I have bought recently with 230 000 km under the belt seems to have a lot of issues with the infamous P2015 error code. I also had an issue with the EGR Valve which i replaced and didn't get any more codes regarding that.

I ordered a new intake manifold and replaced the old one and I hoped that the issue would be gone, but however, after a shorter ride with the car today, I still get the p2015 error code, together with a check engine light in the panel.

Running out of ideas and money for this car. Any ideas what the issue might be?

From what I can read, I need to do adapt the new flap motor / intake manifold with the car. Does anyone know if this is possible to do with obdeleven or do I have to buy proper VCDS tool? How would you do the adapting with VCDS?

VCDS can lead you through the process, assuming there is one. Usually you press a button and it does it itself. Bound to be a how to on tdiclub or youtube
