Thanks, just trying to gauge on when mine was possibly built. Still haven't heard anything from them re: VIN or production date. Will give them until early next week before chasing upOriginally posted by Orpheus2k View PostBuild date mid Oct and completed 30Oct. On board ship on 10 Nov.

That's what I suspected. Most likely VW offering dealerships discounts for selling bundles.Originally posted by tigger73 View PostAs above. I suspect this is a bundled "pack" created by a dealer to up-sell more accessories. There's likely a small discount to buy the pack as opposed to purchasing everything separately.

Howdy folks - can anyone recommend a dealer in Vic to get a reasonable deal on a White Wolfy. Test drove one today with the better half and have to the all clear for the family car purchase. (Doncaster)
dont want the panoramic roof so just as is- they implied there wasn’t much wriggle room in the price on RRP but I’m yet to put any pressure on.

When I searched for a deal on the black one, no sunroof, both Deer Park and Berwick dealers were willing to go under 60k. Considering this was approx 2 months ago, you should be able to do better than this.Originally posted by tomcat225 View PostHowdy folks - can anyone recommend a dealer in Vic to get a reasonable deal on a White Wolfy. That's right. It was a vw not dealer special. As we all know these accessories are not great in terms of value for money and are essentially an opportunity for dealer profit. But my wife wanted these particular accessories (sun blind set mainly) so I had to compromise. There are cheaper after market options but again I was backed into a corner. Small sacrifice really.Originally posted by FastMitch View PostThat's what I suspected. Most likely VW offering dealerships discounts for selling bundles.

I heard the sun blinds are the new type in which they are clipped onto the windows. The previous blinds were integrated inside the door which was more seamless imo (and the one I initially wanted)

To me I think the tell tale sign is the fact that VW Australia have extended their 1.99% finance over 3 years on the Wolfys until March. Therefore I don't think VW Australia are selling too many cars as a whole. So I reckon the balls in your court!!Originally posted by tomcat225 View PostHowdy folks - can anyone recommend a dealer in Vic to get a reasonable deal on a White Wolfy. I said I needed 10% off as I couldn't afford anything above, they counter offered but I said see ya! Then they agreed. You have a lot of dealers in Vic so if one doesn't agree another will!
Oh, don't forget country Victoria dealers too, we were driving back to Adelaide from Vic after Xmas, and much to the despise of my wife I pulled into the dealer at Sheparton. They were more than happy to do a deal, even pay for flights and fuel etc. Everyone is hurting it seemsLast edited by jdstephens; 03-01-2019, 07:48 PM.

Yeah ours are the clip type. Integrated into the door was what I was expecting. Bit underwhelming overall but otherwise function as intended and quick and easy to remove/install.Originally posted by Orpheus2k View PostI heard the sun blinds are the new type in which they are clipped onto the windows. Has anyone seen any photos of the integrated type. One dealer did allude to this but wondering if it is a myth as I have never come across it?Originally posted by Psych101 View PostYeah ours are the clip type. Great advice mate thanks heaps ! I’ve got the name of the Bendigo dealer so might drop them a line too.Originally posted by jdstephens View PostI said I needed 10% off as I couldn't afford anything above, they counter offered but I said see ya! I hadn't heard that VW Tiguan had built in Sunblinds in the door (pull up rollers) like the Hyundai Santa FeOriginally posted by Orpheus2k View PostI heard the sun blinds are the new type in which they are clipped onto the windows.
