Can anyone PM me a Sydney dealer likely to work around the $57k~ mark for a 162 Highline + All the packs? Going to do the rounds and looking to trade in my 2010 GTI
I got mine through Rockdale VW, they seemed really helpful and were great with keeping me updated on delivery progress. Can't speak to the negotiations as I went through a leasing company.
Signed up for a White 2019, MY19.5 - As it has Rline, S&V, Sunroof in Victoria for $55,900 - However i did get the fleet discount of $1000 included - so probably real price was close to $57K. That being said around 5 dealers would simply not budge from being around $1000 more expensive than I finally ended up with.
Hi Jay,
We are looking at a Tiguan with the same specs as yours. I wonder if you could please share the details of your dealer in Sydney. Thank you in advance.
Cheers,
Aam
Hi Guys/Girls Pick mine up this Friday April build. Deep Black Pearl, R-Line Package, Sound and vision, didn't want the sunroof and they tint the front windows to match. $56500.
Hi all. Long time since I’ve been on this forum, or any VW forum for that matter, though I used to frequent vwgolfnet and vwvortex.
I’m chatting with a Sydney dealer on a Tiguan 162 R-line with all key options, roof, sound and vision, in any color I want. Sitting at 57k drive-away.
I have a family and friends discount of 1k which will apply to my final figure (so therefore $56k driveaway currently). Im hoping for a neat 55k including my discount.
Yes/No? Try for more? Keen for some guidance.
Thanks all.
Jay
I’m sold on that price! It’s a awesome price if $55k!

Looking at a 162 Allspace Highline Rline Black S&V, Pano roof and tow bar. Anyone got any good quotes from Adelaide? (Or share a dealer whos looked after them
I am about to sign for an MY20 build Allspace 162 TSI Highline, S&V package, R-Line package, metallic paint, tow kit, tint all round, rubber floor mats, cargo area tray, slimline plates, close enough to 61k. That is with fleet pricing.
Does anyone know if you get a luggage net with the Allspace Highline? No mention of it in the vehicle brochure or accessories brochure.

Sounds like a good price
I got very similar but also with roof bars and rear bumper sill protection plate
Note, window tints is only the front windows, the rest are privacy glass.
I've not seen the luggage net for an Allspace, but I know you can get one for the SWB

Regarding the tint, I am having front windows tinted to match the rear privacy glass, and a UV tint (clear) applied to the privacy glass as it has no UV filter as it is.

I've bought from Solitaire as well as Barry Maney. Solitaire probably has the biggest stock but my experience is sometimes the smaller dealers are willing to do the work to get you the car in that you want.
Generally you'll be able to negotiate a better deal on a car that is in the dealers stock so if you're set on the model/options this kind of plays into the dealers hands a bit. If you can accept maybe a choice of colour/negotiable on the options then you may have more luck.
Otherwise if there's nothing in stock and/or coming in that the dealer can swap for then it's basically a factory order and good luck getting a decent discount on that.
