I had the stick on paddle extensions behind the steering wheel and while the worked well I found they stuck out a bit far so there wasn’t much gap between them and the indicators/wiper stalks. I found these one on AliExpress and were quite cheap compared full replacements I had seen:

    AliExpress

Install was really easy, just need a small pair on needle nose pliers. Think the look much better than the stick on ones:

The other item I found when browsing on eBay (must stop doing that) were replacement LED indicators for the OEM ones in the wing mirrors. I always thought the OEM ones looked a bit average almost cheap looking.l and since painting my mirror caps black thought they stood out a bit. These replacement ones are a smoked colour so blend into the black mirror better plus they are scrolling LEDs so look sweet:

They are also much brighter than the OEM ones, before doing this I didn’t realise how dim the OEM ones are.

I’m in the process of repainting on of my mirror caps, as you can see in one of the photos the plastidip is starting to peel away from a stone chip. Thought I would try changing the rear spoiler to black as well so it looks like the MY18.5 models. I have a can of the glosifier for the plastidip so will use this on the spoiler and once done I’ll post pics showing how it turns out.

Nice. How hard is it to replace the wing mirror LED's?

As for what I did today, gave it a good clean after a longish drive yesterday, and found more scratches and chips that must have been there at delivery....
the tally so far stands at:
two dints in the bonnet from it being pushed down to close it (fixed perfectly by the dealer to be fair)
bird**** etching on the rear passenger side door.
sticky residue on the hatch from the foam numberplate thingy being removed (easily cleaned)
and now I've noticed scratches and chips on the rear driver side window, like it has been cleaned with steel wool after being pummeled with rocks or something. also some pretty decent sized chips in the glass.
a bit hard to complain about 5 weeks after delivery though.
Paint on the door is fine, which makes me wonder if it has been repainted....

I haven't done the VW post sales survey yet mind you...
Yes both are alloy and I ended up only paying $50 for them as they were supposed to send plain ones but sent the stickered ones.

The inner one didnt stick too well so I used some tape I use for dashcams to hold it down after cleaning it all with isopropyl alcohol

Never push a bonnet shut you drop it from 10 ins Mine only has a small chip out of the rubber around the windscreen Nothing else

I don't want the light bar on the roof and the centre camera gets in the way.
Just an obsevation as I dont know where you are but the ADR's have rules about lights above the bonnet line (presuming yours are mounted like that) as per here

Vic roads VS129 Drivers view Is same for all states

Fog lights & additional headlights (driving lights) : VicRoads

Basically VS129 says drivers must have an unobstructed view over bonnet 11m in the front 15deg to R side and 56 deg to left taken at a point 760mm above drivers seat cushion with it in centre of forward/backward travel. Applies to lights, light bars and 100mm wide aerial bases

Seems not a lot know this like the guy in our area with 2 great big (about 10in) lights mounted on top of his bullbar

This weeks improvements to the Rline

In the bottom pic you can just see the edge line of the3M film A bit shorter cos thats all I had but as wide as it needs to be.

Top edge is under the alloy

Have done all the door sills and the illuminated kick plates as well All up about $40 of Film

Alloy protectors have the L designation because thats what they call the Allspace in China where I got the protectors from. They reckon they wouldnt fit but they do. They dont do one for the SWB even though they are the same Cost $104 got here in under 2 weeks

The mudflaps are VW part no 5NA 075 111A Cost $117 at VW parts

No probs. They gave me the wrong cross bars first go round that were too short. I figured the box photos with part numbers might be handy.

Both the bars in the box are the same length so it's pretty simple to fit. Takes about 5 min once setup and the same to remove.
