Hey Micky, can you please share the pics and links of bumper protector? I'm also planning to buy one.

Both the bars in the box are the same length so it's pretty simple to fit. Takes about 5 min once setup and the same to remove.

This weeks improvements to the Rline
In the bottom pic you can just see the edge line of the3M film A bit shorter cos thats all I had but as wide as it needs to be.
Top edge is under the alloy
Have done all the door sills and the illuminated kick plates as well All up about $40 of Film
Alloy protectors have the L designation because thats what they call the Allspace in China where I got the protectors from. They reckon they wouldnt fit but they do. They dont do one for the SWB even though they are the same Cost $104 got here in under 2 weeks
The mudflaps are VW part no 5NA 075 111A Cost $117 at VW parts

I bolted two Cibie Super Oscar LED driving lights to the front of it for long trips and they make an astounding difference to the stock LED headlights. No pictures unfortunately as I have since taken them off but the brackets come out through the gap at the front of the hood and bolt to the top of the fan/radiator cover using the stock bolts and a couple of nutserts we put in for added strength. When they are off no one would know that anything had been there at all. If I could figure a way to do it with no modification to the car I would put a Chinese light bar on it when the driving lights are not on. I don't want the light bar on the roof and the centre camera gets in the way.

Vic roads VS129 Drivers view Is same for all states
Fog lights & additional headlights (driving lights) : VicRoads
Basically VS129 says drivers must have an unobstructed view over bonnet 11m in the front 15deg to R side and 56 deg to left taken at a point 760mm above drivers seat cushion with it in centre of forward/backward travel. Applies to lights, light bars and 100mm wide aerial bases
Seems not a lot know this like the guy in our area with 2 great big (about 10in) lights mounted on top of his bullbarLast edited by Guest001; 25-04-2019, 08:02 PM.2021 Kamiq LE 110 , Moon White, BV cameras F & B
