Finally, swapped out the entire light assembly with a $8.50 dim sum yum cha SMD special that's made in China but came from my motherland (Vietnam). Interesting journey, but whatever it was cheap lol.

Photos don't really show the difference as the exposure compensation pulls in more light however there's a big difference from that halogen monsoon light.

So far no errors on the dash, no CEL and car still works lol.

I have a dog, so quite often it's in the boot and this has worked a treat for preventing any claw marks when it's jumping in/out
Absolutely see the value in it. My minister for war and finance has bloody Muppet arms and will certainly dropping shopping bags etc on the bumper and the beagles will scratch the hell out of it getting in and out.

I dunno... just not overly happy with the satin colouring.

Hi.. Yes it works fine. The first one I got was a bit fickle but they immediately sent a replacement. It is a pretty simple thing just made of 3 layers of acrylic sheet with the QI device sandwiched in there. USB diect connected phone will take priority over pad charging if you want to go that way to use wired connection for Carplay / Android Auto no problem. I find it really convenient.

    THE GOOD:
    1) CQUK Ceramic coating - self applied
    2) G4 coating to exterior plastic / rubber - self applied
    3) Blackvue 900 dashcam with Powermagic Pro - self installed
    4) Wireless QI charging plate in foward console tray ex AliExp.
    5) LED lights in trunk & glovebox - only problem was gbox light needed a bit if filing. Much whiter and brighter.
    6) Spectra ceramic window tint to sort of match the factory privacy tint - see other thread on tinting.
    7) Front number plate mount removal and plugging - see other thread on number plates.

How're you finding the wireless charge plate?

$250 in Sydney. Search for Van Made Studio on Facebook (no affiliation, just a happy customer)
I got my mirrors, rear wing, lower door trims and window trims vinyl wrapped when i first got my car. Roof rails I was told would need to be removed to be done properly.

$250 is a very good price for what you got done.

That sounds like a clean stealth option. Would love to see the final result on that.
