Mk2 Tiguan VCDS Tweaks

Hi Everyone, I have recently got my new Tiguan 162TSI highline with DAP. I was trying to activate HBA via OBD11 but it is showing Function 31 error when I was trying to change the value in Control unit A5. Also tried the app version, but it is showing HBA is not supported. Is there any issue with LED headlights of 162TSI Tiggy? I am in a dilemma.

seems the 9.2 descover pro has a different menu system than the other one, so no changing of colour in the setup screens

I think you summed it up fairly accurately and VW do say that you must remain alert and ready to avoid an accident, there are pages of warnings in every user manual. The first accident report to an insurance company blaming the car and its systems should be interesting. A driver was recently stopped in a Tesla and tested DUI after he had been observed to be asleep at the wheel. He claimed that as the car was doing the driving his intoxication had nothing to do with controlling the car!! An interesting philosophical argument no doubt followed the driver's statement.

I think with time and experience we will adapt and find alternative solutions where the car is lacking in cooperation.
Today I managed to catch ALG working down to 62 km/h, it was very interesting . The simple things in life that please us. It was a kodak moment for me. It seems ALG does not get its instructions from the Speedo.

The OBDEleven app definitely doesn't work. For control unit A5 did you enter a security code? Just select security in the app for that control unit and it will scan and find you the code. Once you've done that you should be able to make the change. Worked fine on my Highline.

How come the adaptive lane guidance is showing the car on the lane next to yours? I don't think I get that on my Tiguan.

Shows up on the ACC on our Golf and Tiguan.

In the video it shows the option to change the background lighting in the doors and floorwells as well as on the screens. Has anyone been able to do this?

My understanding is that the Arteon has the multi coloured led lights in the trims while Tiguan and Golf only get white light led.

What do you use ? Odb11, vcds ? Which version of vcds ?
