I Ordered the "grill" in the middle but there is a slight colour difference between the original and the ones from Aliexpress.
I'm not sticking them on my grill.

Bummer! It’s a neat idea to add the extra bar but aftermarket chrome trim can easily cheapen the look. There’s a bunch of clip on crap online, but I thought this one looked worthwhile.
Is it feasible to replace all three to get a match?

$14 from Kmart. Fits the Tig perfectly and includes boot lip protector!

I picked up one of these bumper protectors from the fitmycar.com.au website for $60...It's a nice piece of kit and well made. They said it was for MK2 Tiguan, but as you can see it is a bit narrow and doesn't completely fill the gap... at least not to my requirements.
To their credit, they immediately acknowledged it is a 'one size fits all' and offered me a full refund.
I'm going to keep it for my wife's Focus - the bumper on that has copped a thrashing from loading the pushchair... the same reason for putting one in the Tiguan.
I'm off to Kmart this weekend to grab one that TheTig has recommended - Thanks @TheTig!

why didn't you push it all the way forward and left a gap in front (the gap where the masking tape is)?

If you push one side so it sits flush, the other side sticks out even more. It is not physically possible to have both outer edges to sit flush without deforming the thing in the middle.
That is the amount it sticks out by if you have it sitting equidistant on both sides.

Just wondering if anyone has pricing for the new Tiguan accessories. Trying to firm up the price I want to pay before I go to the dealers

It would be well worth checking out overseas pricing. It might even be worth buying them offshore. I know that wheels are much much cheaper OS but the freight cost makes it pointless. At least you would have some ammunition with the dealer.

Hi guys, just thought I'd let you know it isn't worth getting the boot sill cover from the above sites.
I test-fitted mine and it didn't fit perfectly so requested for a refund.

They were good to deal with through eBay and they did refund me my money.

I ended up buying the Kmart boot liner which suits my needs so far, will decide later if I still want a stick on boot sill protector

I wonder if the US long wheelbase version has a deeper bumper.

I took off the red adhesive cover, blow dried the adhesive so it was nice and gummy before sticking on the paddle shift extenders.
