Haha yeh did that and took a step back then seemed to work more often
Still bit intermittent
I've pretty much got it down pat now, but not sure specifically why it works better now than it did in the first few weeks... it does nothing for a second then the lights flash and it starts opening. Yes, stepping back a step might be part of the trick...

My experience is that you actually have to have the key on you - doesn’t seem to work (even if doors are unlocked) if you don’t. Could be a coincidence (and I’ve now got the knack) but I think that’s what it is!
Apparently mine on the same ship. Sail safely Elektra. I've got my VIN, where do you look up the VIN info?

Sail safety you say.. One such ship named Elektra is sitting in a port in China (very very close to North Korea). The other is off the coast of Portugal, fingers crossed your car is on the latter [emoji38]
Just google wwl, then track and trace, put your vin in cargo id and lastly hit track.. Should come up with the name of your ship, eta etc.
Received my "I'm shipped" email on Monday and this was backed up by a separate email from the dealer confirming this on Tuesday. Received the vin number this morning, so I'll be checking which boat it's on in the next few days. Dealer suggesting an ETD of @Nov 7th.
Back in the VW world with a 2023 T Roc R, Silver with black roof.
Am I correct in assuming that once you receive a "Built" email then the wait time is approximately 6-8 weeks until delivery?
I’d suggest min of 8 weeks, depending where in Australia. As an indication, I received Built email 15/9. ETA Into Melb is 9/11, ship then sails to NSW...

Mine is finally also on its way, also the Elektra which from the WWL site I could find it seemed to have left northern Spain on the 4th, how can I see the real time location e.g. Portugal?
